Faith Baby

It takes faith to live. Actually, it is impossible to live without it.

Even the atheist exercises faith, although it may be misdirected toward self or others. That being said, why not believe in something that is under girded by an abundance of evidence?

Jesus said the signs and miracles that he performed were evidence that He is the Son of God. While some struggle to believe, we only need ask to see the evidence and then sit back and watch.

God is always willing to show Himself to those who seek Him. He said "if you seek me with all your heart, you will truly find me". While some folks go to the ends of the earth to find God, He is very near to you.

Jesus said to seek, knock, ask, and believe. If you are not sure about things today, just do what He said to do and then watch what happens. You will not be disappointed.

Real faith is rooted in evidence. Jesus will provide us all the evidence we need when we really want to know Him. Our spiritual hunger is tied to our ability to believe. At the same time, our faith will be established when we reach out and ask for His help. In the asking there is the release of His love, and then faith will surely flourish. Go ahead my friend, dare to believe and you will have your evidence. Faith is a journey that only yields it's treasure as we go expecting!

Never without Help

Sometimes a lying voice will tell us that we are without help as we go. Nothing could be farther from the truth for those who are children of God.

We have a helper that promises to always be with us. We are never helpless if we are in Christ.

Jesus told his friends that it was best that he should depart (for heaven), for then the "Helper" would come. You see my friend, the "Helper" is always with us to help us with the very thing we need the most help with today.

The "Helper" is none less than God Himself. He is the Spirit of Jesus: the One who is always present, always for us, and always revealing Christ. He has promised to carry us to our final destination without losing anyone of us who love him along the way. With him, we are never helpless!

Look to the God who helps his children today beloved. You are not helpless, but in the company of the God who loves to help his family!

GO

Now is the best time to go.

I don't know much, but I have learned that there will always be a reason not to go. There will certainly always be a promise of an easier time to depart, a hope of better days, but it never really gets easier than today.

It is so easy to put off the dreams of serving to a better day, but rarely does that day exceed the brightness of today. Perhaps that is why the book says, "Now is the acceptable time. Now is the day of salvation".

I have met quite a few people over the years that always plan to go, only to find another hindrance, another obstacle, another "to do" list facing them when the time arrives to make departure plans. Inevitably, there will always be reasons to delay the trip. For those who are inclined to find reasons not to go, there will always be plenty of reasons to stay home.

The bottom line is that it really takes faith just to get up and go.

So go! Don't wait. IF you wait, you will be too old, too broke, too tired, to feeble, or too something if you keep putting off your dream. Just go. And tell us the stories of all that happened when you went. The ministry is all about, "they just went".

Let your life and others be changed in the going!
